Studio by SparkLamp is a free video editor for Windows. It has a multi-track timeline, keyframes and camera moves, and keeps your whole video in one readable file that you and your AI agent edit together.
Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) · No account · No watermark
Every edit, whether you make it with the mouse, in code or through an AI agent, lands in the same timeline, with the same undo history.
Lay out text, shapes, images, video and audio on as many tracks as you need. Add keyframes, presets and transitions without writing a line.
Drop a TypeScript file into the project and it becomes a clip. Particles, charts, typography, generative art: if you can code it, it can sit on a track.
Your whole video is one readable project file. Ask Claude Code or any coding agent for a change and the preview updates in about a second.
Studio stores the timeline in project.json: tracks, clips, keyframes and transitions in plain
JSON. Point Claude Code at the project folder and ask for what you want. Studio watches the file, so every change shows up in the preview within about a second.

As many tracks as you need, with hide, mute and lock. Snap, split, trim and group clips that belong together.
Animate any number or color. Anchor keyframes to a clip’s end so fade-outs survive every trim.
Zoom into any point of the frame and pan between shots with eased camera clips.
Crossfade, dip, or push in any direction, centered on the cut.
Fade, pop and slide in or out in one click, with back, cubic, quad and sine curves.
Render to MP4 inside the app, hardware-accelerated when your PC supports it. No watermark, ever.

Each Studio project keeps its timeline in a plain JSON file, src/project.json. An AI coding agent such as Claude Code can read and change that file. Studio watches it and updates the preview within about a second, and each change becomes one undo step.
No. The timeline, keyframes, presets and transitions all work with the mouse. Code clips are there for when you want something the timeline can’t describe.
Studio exports MP4 video, rendered on your own computer. Exports go to the project’s output folder.
On your computer. Every project is an ordinary folder in your Documents folder, holding the timeline file, your media and any code clips. Nothing is uploaded.
